We’re excited to have Kate Heit, editor at Scholastic, to present a webinar.

Saturday, February 22, 2020

Time: 11am PST / 2pm EST

The Business of Nonfiction

In this 75 minute session, Scholastic Editor Katie Heit will discuss nonfiction in the children’s marketplace. This talk will cover how publishers approach a growing audience, what’s working in children’s nonfiction, how to select and research your topic, the dos and don’ts of nonfiction, and how to make your manuscript stand out.

A limited number of critiques are offered. SOLD OUT.

(It’s a pet peeve of mine that consistently, we have members that do not submit, or can not format their manuscripts as requested. I can’t be responsible for your lack of organization. If you take a critique spot and you forget, you will lose your critique opportunity and there IS NO REFUND FOR CRITIQUE portion of the fee, if you forget or don’t know how to format.)

The webinar will be recorded for those that can’t make the time but have registered prior to the event. The recording will be available until March 1. If you do not register in advance, you can not watch the recording.
