SOLD OUT

Start the New Year with inspiration and feedback to achieve your writer and illustrator goals for 2018.

You’ve been perfecting your craft as a writer and/or illustrator but you haven’t hooked your dream agent yet. Maybe it’s not your writing but the lack of a unique premise.

Three agents – Jill Corcoran, Beth Phelan, and Jen Rofé will guide us in better understanding what types of stories will gain their interest. Learn to query, pitch, and go home and revise and pitch again the next day. 15 total critiques by Beth and Jen.

This is a 2-day event. This even is for both Writers & Illustrators. The three agents will each give a one hour session on a useful and informative topics in addition to giving you the ins and outs of their agencies.

This event is in conjuction with the Nevada Mentor Program which means we’ll also have 9 authors – Tera Lynn Childs, Arree Chung, Eric Elfman, Terri Farley, Diana Lopez, Jenny MacKay, Axie Oh, Heather Petty, and Suzanne Morgan Willams giving great sessions or participating in roundtables.

Kristine Brogno, Children’s Design Director at Chronicle Books is a mentor this year so she along with Arree Chung, writer-illustrator are giving illustrator intensive workshops.
