Date(s) - 04/10/2021
10:00 am - 11:00 am

For those of you who attended Jen Rofé’s Query Workshop are invited to attend this session to have your query critiqued by authors who have mastered the art of the query letter. If you didn’t attend Jen Rofé’s workshop, you can purchase the recording of the session that will be available after the event.

Authors, Axie Oh and Heather Petty gave this query workshop during the annual NV SCBWI conference. It garnered 5-star ranking from attendees and it was hugely popular.

Bring your query letters and they will critique it and help you refine what you’ve learned from Jen Rofé.

Before starting her career as an author, Axie Oh interned for Steven Malk of Writer’s House and Marcy Posner of Folio Literary agency. Axie is a first-generation Korean American, born in NYC and raised in New Jersey. She studied Korean history and creative writing as an undergrad at the University of California – San Diego and holds an MFA from Lesley University in Writing for Young People. Her passions include K-pop, anime, stationery supplies, and milk tea. She currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with her puppy, Toro.

Heather has been obsessed with mysteries since she was twelve, which is when she decided that stories about murders in London drawing rooms and English seaside villages were far superior to all other stories. She is the author of the Lock & Mori series, a Sherlock Holmes origin story told from the perspective of a sixteen-year-old, female Moriarty. She lives in Reno, Nevada with her husband, daughter, and three hopelessly devious cats.
