We often talk about character and setting as distinct elements of a novel, but powerful moments in fiction often come when they are woven so tightly that they act as one. During this session we’ll deconstruct atmosphere through a series of examples, and then – through a guided exercise – each participant will have the opportunity to deepen the atmosphere of their own story.
The video recording of this digital workshop will remain up on the SCBWI archives page for four weeks.
